FOIL ASSISTThe 185mm motor pod position hits the sweet spot for most foil-assist disciplines, low drag, well-balanced, and basically invisible once you're on foil. While some advanced riders prefer to mount it closer to the board, and beginners stretch it out to 220mm for extra margin, 185mm remains the goldilocks zone for everyday versatility.
