The Tahoe SUP Rubicon LT 12' Paddle Board is a rugged ATV of a paddle board. Tahoe SUP Rubicon LT 12' Paddle Board is made from Koreguard, an epoxy lamination over 3mm Divinycell high-density foam which is compression and heat molded over a lightweight EPS core. The Tahoe SUP Rubicon LT 12' Paddle Board is slightly heavier (31 lbs.) than the Tahoe SUP Zephyr 12'6'' (28 lbs.). A major reason is that to create a durable paddle board like this, you must compromise on the weight of the board. If you think about it, when the board is in the water, is a 3 pound difference a major problem? For most paddlers the answer is a resounding no. This paddle board is considered an all water or touring board. Great all in one family board or for the person like to be less than gentle on their gear. The Tahoe SUP Rubicon LT 12' Paddle Board is a well-priced displacement that will paddle near the same as the Boardworks SUP Raven 12'6''. The Rubicon LT 12' will be a little more durable than the Raven while the weight and board capacity mirror each other. All in all this is a classy clean board by a great brand that can be used for fishing, family fun and touring.
