Race 2 / 8 of the Urban Surf Summer SUP Series didn't feel too Summery but a stout crew of racers braved the rain and wind to paddle this 2.2 mile course on Seattle's Lake Union. It was some paddlers 1st race of the season and others were absent having just paddled in the "70 in 48" race from Tacoma to Pt Townsend Washington - a 70 mile endurance event that is a precursor to the Race to Alaska.
