Due to the 90 degree temperatures we set Race 7 / 8 of the Urban Surf Summer SUP Series
at 1.4 miles - a slightly shorter race than the previous 2. Excited onlookers cheered from rafts, passing powerboats, and from shore as the route took the participating paddlers across the Start / Finish line three times.
We noticed that a few paddlers (Ivan, Chris, & Rob) have seriously up'ed their game by switching to the narrower, flatter, and more demanding Starboard Sprint model made for flatwater racing in particular.
